This is a simple pen-and-ink sketch that I'll probably add watercolor to eventually. In the mean time, I like how the stark black-and-white stands out against the colored background. I created this one by scanning the sketch and editing out the background. Then I placed it against a solid pink background and applied two halftone filters to give it the texture and the radial effect. July 1999.
