Step Seven: Final adjustments

bird Finally, I decide that I'd like to add a drop-shadow to make the bird stand out a little more. To do this I start by duplicating the bird, then moving the duplicate layer below the layer that contains the real bird. Then I paint that lower layer black, adjust it's opacity to about 20%, then use the Move tool to move it into place.
