Writing/Editing Projects

The Total Bankruptcy Recovery Manual
I researched and wrote seven chapters of The Total Bankruptcy Recovery Manual, a 1999 publication of the Destiny Financial Group. I also did extensive editing on other chapters, did the final proofing of the entire book, and I wrote and designed the direct-mail sales letter.

Business Plans
I have drafted business plans for two Internet startup companies: MED Services, a virtual hosting and marketing company, and OnReal, a B2B advertising company.

The Morpheus Company’s Online Portfolio (http://www.dare2dream.com)
I functioned as lead editor, proofreader, and Q&A technician for The Morpheus Company during the 1998 rebuild of its online portfolio.

The Stablegirl’s Lair Essays (http://www.stablegirl.com/scrawls.html)
The Stablegirl’s Lair is my personal home page. The “Scrawls” section features a series of my personal essays, one of which was awarded an Honorable Mention in The WELL’s 1998 Online Writing Competition.

Graphics/Design Projects on the Web

The Stablegirl’s Lair (
http://www.stablegirl.com)
My personal home page also features a large collection of my original graphics, as well as a series of step-by-step graphics demonstrations. The site has received more than 100 online awards and honors, including a favorable review in USA Today’s Hot Sites column (May 4, 1998), and it currently receives more than 30,000 visitors per month.

Baby Bunting, Inc.
Baby Bunting, Inc. was an online baby superstore featuring products from around the world. Although the store closed after a year and a half online, screenshots of the site are available at http://www.stablegirl.com/samples/baby.html.

Keepin’ The Faith: Cancer Support For the Heart and Soul (http://ktf.org)
KTF is a non-profit cancer support organization for which I’ve created original graphics and banners. I also provide technical help and general design assistance when needed, and I am currently collaborating with KTF to create an interactive site where family members can create their own memorials for cancer victims.

In addition, I’ve created numerous logos, banners, and other graphics for various individuals, companies, and non-profit organizations. Samples are available at http://www.stablegirl.com/samples/index.html.
