One of the first non-commissioned paintings I've done since 1996, this is another of what I refer to as my "watercolor sketches". I make a sketch in pencil, then I draw over the pencil with waterproof ink, then I paint over the ink with a think coat of watercolors. This is my favorite type of painting because it doesn't require a lot of detail, and therefore it doesn't require a lot of time and effort. I completed this one in about an hour. July 1999.
