Nominees for the Take 5 Award for Personal Homepages are scored on a long list of specific criteria. Winning sites must score 70% or higher.

 

Lunar Graphics Awards are based on design, layout, graphics, functionality and overall appearance.

 

The Silver Vision Award is given to those sites that show exemplary work in design, organization, and service to the web community.

 

The Golden Ace Award awards homepages for "excellence in design, creativity and preserving family safe content."

The Hawk Award is given out for "quality web site design. Whatever avenue one may take to achieve a "well-designed site" is entirely up to them. Use or don't use whatever design packages or techniques you wish. Just use what you will on a professional level."

The Bald Eagle Award is given to one site per week. It cannot be applied for; the winner is chosen from the winners of the Hawk Award.

The Golden Eagle Award is given to one site per month. It cannot be applied for; the winner is chosen from the winners of the Bald Eagle Award.

The Nomination Members WS Award simply looks for "quality sites."

According to the folks who give the Simply Submit It Site Award for Excellence, "When we leave your site we want to know you or your product! We want to be left feeling like 'we want to go back .. again .. and again!"
