I recently received an e-mail from a young lady named Carol Gravley, and in that e-mail
Carol paid me the greatest compliment I've ever received-- she told me that I had
inspired her. As proof, she attached her own version of this fox, and I was so
impressed with it that I asked her if I could display it here on my site. She
graciously agreed, so I've posted it here. Take a look! All I
can say is that I wish I'D been HALF that talented at fifteen... Thanks again, Carol!

Friends who have seen my sketchbook may recognize this image-- it's based on a
watercolor I did in 1996, though the style is very different. (See the original..) I created this version as a challenge to
myself: I wanted to see how my control of a mouse compared to my control of a
paintbrush. It was drawn with Adobe Photoshop in November 1997.
