A few years ago I saw a photograph in a book of a colt in this pose. I really liked it and made a quick sketch of it, but it's just been sitting there in my sketch book ever since. I scanned it in to see how well my new scanner would scan line drawings, then I decided to "paint" it in Photoshop. January 1999.
