Isn't it great?! Here's an excerpt from Carol's e-mail, describing how she created
the image:

"The first one I did is a drawing first done in the
"cartoonist way," which I call it. It started in pencil, the outlines darkened
in and so forth. Then I went over it in pen, erased the pencil, and scanned it
into my computer as a black-and-white document. I saved it as a .pdd file in
photo deluxe, converted it into a bitmap, and opened it in paint to do away
with the unwanted extra lines, etc. Then I opened it in photo deluxe and
continued with the coloring, shading, etc. I used no filters, just
"smudge," "clone," "paint," and "color change" in the "advanced" area.
This took me five days, so I'm hoping my work paid off. This is my first
attempt, so don't laugh. Hope you'll like it!"
