I was inspired to create this image after designing the entry page for an environmental education organization called the Turtle Island Institute. I worked with several Native American themes on that project, but I couldn't manage to fit in one of the most obvious symbols, the buffalo. This image is the first of a series that I'm creating for the "Artist's Showcase" that TII is setting up for me.
